AFK for a week or so

I'm moving into university tomorrow.

Had to dismantle my PC to pack my things.

Not sure when I'll be on next as I have to make new friends and discover the new town etc. There's a chance I might be on TS3 on my phone if I get bored :)

So yeah, I'm settling into university really well!

My flat mates are awesome, my course is good and I've met lots of awesome people.. and some grills ;)

My problem now is that as my internet is provided by the university, they've blocked a lot of UDP ports (and a few TCP) which are needed to play loads of my favourite games (bf4, warframe, halo). So although I can load the master server and see that the servers are online, I can not actually join anything. Which is rather annoying tbh! I've messaged the IT people and I'm hoping they can fix the issue.. But for the mean time I'm not able to play halo. :(

So arent you allowed to get your own internet from a different ISP then the university's? I had same problem in my town too but i spoke with the director/head master/chancellor (idk how you guys call it) and he told me i could make a contract with a different ISP then the university for a better/faster/steadier connection.

Meanwhile you can use your mobile phone connection to play, yolo. I did it sometimes before i got wire in my room and it doesnt work very bad. = )
