Damn. I've just looked up the socket and seen which processors are available.

I don't think ANY of them are any good. Yes some have 3.00ghz clockspeed, but most of them are single core. I'm not going to get into the technical side of things, but a lot of these CPU's just don't have the power to handle higher spec games.

Your best bet in my opinion would be the Intel Core 2 Quad. Purely because it's quad core and you'll need a quad core to play games like BF3.

-PCI-E Frequency: 101mhz
-PCI Clock Synchronization mode: 33,33mhz
-Spread Spectrum: Disabled (sempre disabilitato!!)
-Memory Voltage: Da specifica, a seconda di marca e modello avete un valore specifico
-CPU Vcore Voltage: 1,3V (qua va a foruna del procio, a volte bisogna provare finche non si trova la tensione adatta)
-FSB Termination Voltage: AUTO
-NB Vcore: AUTO
-SB Vcore: AUTO oppure 1,5V
-ICH Chipset Voltage: AUTO

or whit a  pentium 3,8 ghz

Depends on the cooling you have.
You are probably better of buying a cheap motherboard and a new I5(for example the haswell range)

Just tell your parents that it saves a lot of elecktricity so they might pay for it  ;)

depends on which I5 or I7 you want to get.

If you want a haswell generation I will have to check for you.
Usually an MSI or Asus motherboard somewhere around the 100-140 euro will be fine.

If you want to get an ivy/sandy bridge one I recommend the MSI z77-GD65 since I have it my self.

I think 100 euro for the motherboard and the processor are wasted cost 200 Euros: you might as well expect that this will break to buy a new computer with i7 etc. while the video card I could always change it if I am not satisfied
I want to overclock the intel core 2 quad-core 2.3 ghz to 3.00 ghz
I have the thermal paste but where should I put?
help me in these problems
-How to insert the new gpu When it arrive
-How to overclock my intel core 2 quad-core Q8200 to 3,0 or 3,3 ghz
-where put the thermic pasta
-buy two blocks of 8 gb ram I need? now i have 4 gb but with two blocks of RAM to 2 gb ciascuni :/ frequency of 400 mghz
Why should I bargain in PCShop to sell the 2 blocks for 1 to 4 gb and buy another 4 gb and bargain with the n00binator of the pc shop is boring

there are loads of different ways to put paste on what I do is put a dot on were gloves

u need to overclock with the bios asus mobos are best for oc

would not recommend to overclock that high btw (its ur choise)

the gpu is easy to install open ur case undo the screw on the pci slot if any
slot it in

ram is cheapest to buy online buy from stores like amazon and ebay

all the methods shown others may have different views.

m3rked out
