Are you still banned? One of the admins (not sure which) banned public cd-key therefore a lot of players were banned. I unbanned that cd-key as soon as I noticed.

Learn modeling first. Without good modeling skills you won't be able to create a good map. Also you need to know a few rules for map model or else you will be getting a lot of errors when compiling it (http://s1.postimg.org/9meojr7of/bsperrors.jpg). Just watch few map making tutorials on youtube and read official HEK tutorial http://hce.halomaps.org/hek/
