some as you might know you can flash to the 6970 BIOS which ive tried but it was using too much power but here's the link if you want to see it http://www.techpowerup.com/articles/overclocking/vidcard/159

i did do it but i had a few problems like the blue screen of death so i had to swich the VBIOS to 2 then had to flash it back to normal in one then i found a 6950modded much safer i think it might be the same but this is what my results are.

6950modded with OC                                                               6950modded without OC                             

and my core clock is 890 and my mem 900(what is the use of memory clock?)
my Card is a refrence design ATI Radeon HD 2x 6950

LoL if its your dads computer I would suggest not to mess with it much then... Just because certain settings and voltages work for one person does not mean its "failproof" and anytime you overclock GPU's or CPU's you run the risk of overheating and frying it (Especially if you don't fully understand what you are doing)... Your choice of course but papa might be pissed if you mess up his shit... 

half i know what im doing but half i dont know but when i play battlefield 3 on ultra its better(more FPS) cause my dad and i put too much stuff and it makes the framerates go down but yeah

Gliffs are you using a special case? If you are then good if you didn't it will be fryed by then

mines a "stock" AMD Radeon HD 6950 but hope its capible of it
when i do Legacy skin it shows shader clock what does it do (its locked)

Gijs i think i dont want to do the 6950 to 6970 bios mod cause its my dad's computer i dont want to break or overheat/volt it

Yo I was wondering how could I over clock my GPU? HD6950 I'm using the latest CCC(catalyst control center) and MSI afterburner it's a stock 2gb
My current clock is 840/1325 and core voltage is 1175(says MSI afterburner) modified it alitle
Using an R3 alienware(alright but shitty) aurora and using eyefinity at 5780x1080 or 3 screens with 1980x1080
