Title: haloce problem:hardware acceleration maybe disabled

i formatted and i re-installed win7 ultimate x64 i install the driver and the updates but when i start halo i have this problem
specifics of my computer(worst)

Try first that: right click on "haloce.exe" ---> Properties ---> Compatibility ----> Run the program in compatibility mode for: (or something like that) ----> Choose WinXP"

If still doesn't work try this: http://crappybitter.livejournal.com/tag/ddc_tool
Ok, the site is Russian, but you should manage to recognise the download link of "DirectDraw Compatibility Tool". Install and run it, then select the "haloce.exe" path.

Let know if everithing has gone well.

I have seen that window when i open the game few times...but then the game starts normaly.

Glad you solved it.
Sometimes a reboot solves this error to.
Just adding this as a solution in case someone finds this thread and has the same error ;)
