Title: Slightly updated website
Post by: Jack on 10 July 2014, 00:36:12
It's that time of the year again where we update the look of the website.

This year we thought 'Oh look, the website actually looks decent as it is and doesn't need unnecessary changes to f*ck our users over' so we basically went back and simplified some of the elements to make them look a little more clean.

We also have a slightly updated clan logo to further simply it (because it already wasn't simple enough) and to make it look cleaner (this should've also fixed the issue where the navigation bar was being incorrectly displayed on some screens - this was because the logo was so large) I know people like using it in their signatures on here so, if you'd like to update any sort of clan images you currently have you can find the new logo below:

(Oh boy, doesn't that look so different? I had difficulty even recognizing it ... /s/ )

We also updated the image slider on the homepage with an all-new slider and a few new images - now you can watch beautiful animations as if it was a movie playing at your local cinema. Better get the popcorn ready!

If anyone would like photoshop files of any of these images just shout at me very loudly in a private message (also MAKE SURE YOU USE CAPITALS SO THAT I CAN SEE THAT YOU ARE SHOUTING).

You can see all of these improvements along with why this clan is so awesome over at http://www.xgclan.com - you may need to clear your cache to see all of the changes.

Further on the list of mega improvements will be to redesign the forum and make it look cleaner but that won't be for a few weeks yet...

Jack.

I've got a problem with two of the images in the slider. Some of the text gets cut by the edge.

Should be fixed now, Jack made it fixed size and now its responsive so it changes size depending on your screen resolution.

A little better but both images still get cut. I'm using 1208x1024

I've just checked, it's an issue on Google Chrome (I just installed it) - I'll have a look at fixing it tomorrow (or later today, whichever way you look at it).

Had a look and not sure what is causing that issue, it's happening on all browsers from what I can see - Gijs was there an update or something?

Yea, an update broke it.
The author send me a new beta update which seems to have resolved it.
