i was really surprised about the more better performance whit windows 8.1
Hitman Absolution gave me some problems whit windows 8.1
I unistalled windows 8 for that
I lost some fps in a lot of games I don't know how it's perform more better

and what say about windows defender it's microsoft security essentials and is most crappy antivirus

Welcome to the future:Steam OS

It is OS based Debian Wheezy whit GNOME 3 A linux distribution very nice
It's currently in beta but i think it will be a revolution and windows will get a new enemy called Steam
I Tried The beta and It look nice but For me isn't nice as windows

What do you think?Do you think we are nearest to find in the requirements:Windows,Mac,Linux and SteamOS

True Story I'm waiting windows 9 Windows 8 totally delused me AcXe I also suggest you to remove windows 8 and install windows 7 ultimate for fix xfire error and for don't have problems in the future

I'm getting also some problems whit windows 8.1 Pro
Xfire detect but not all games halo 1 won't be in game i tried in settings but nothing
Halo CE xfire in game hour say ever stupid things as 00:00 when is a totally different hour
I got also a decrease of fps in windows 8.1 in payday the heist i lost about 15 fps in max settings
and hitman absolution is slowest it's impossible play
I will remove windows 8.1 and reinstall windows 7......
