Spoiler tags for forum and youtube integration
« on: 14 October 2013, 18:29:22 »
Some people might already know the BBspoiler code.

I've just implemented this in the forum so you can now use [ spoiler] [/ spoiler] to hide text or images.
for example:
Spoiler for Hiden:
this
You can obviously use this for spoilers, but I also recommend it for large images in posts, to prevent the forum from getting cluttered.

Another thing which I've added is that youtube can now be integrated in to the forum.
Just put [ youtube] tags around the youtube link.

Here is an example:

Note: Remove the spaces from the spoilers to make them work...

It apparently happens because the content is insecure on a https page.
It's a browser setting which you have to change.

I dont use any add-ons or extensions except the skype and anti-ads addons. Im not sure what is causing that. I personally thought it would be fixed by updating browser/flashplayer/plugin.

It's to do with the HTTPS connection. Firefox blocks any unsecure content and apparently the link script is unsafe.

There's not much you can really do about it. I tried to stop the youtube script being blocked but because it's not a local file (like images) then I can't unblock it  : (
